Overview

Role : Cloud Architecture - Consultant in Tech Strategy & Advisory based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Travel may be required up to 0-100% as appropriate for client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess and solve complex business problems for the assigned area, requiring in-depth evaluation of data and variables.
• Conduct security design reviews to assess security implications for introducing new or different technologies.
• Assist with cloud process automation and standardization initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients to capture high-level business needs and develop detailed functional specifications and documentation (e.g., requirement traceability matrices, workflow diagrams, use cases).
• Design new business processes based on requirements and conduct user reviews and stakeholder alignment sessions to drive transformation.
• Drive enterprise business, application, and integration architecture vision and roadmaps.
• Support architecture transformation from current state to a defined target state.
• Architect solutions on AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms; contribute to reference architectures and migration planning.
• Plan and manage cloud migrations, coordinating across stakeholders and delivering migration roadmaps with project management oversight.
• Proficient in cloud-native development concepts, DevOps, and data integration across cloud platforms.
• Understand hybrid cloud deployment, security, and integration patterns; evaluate cloud platforms and migration considerations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of cost optimization (FinOps) and cloud economics.
