Responsibilities

  • Deliver impactful onboarding and continuous learning programs for new and existing Safety Model Operations team members.
  • Identify knowledge gaps, develop targeted training interventions, and support upskilling to meet evolving project needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional (XFN) partners to understand project requirements, training needs, and performance expectations.
  • Set clear SMART goals for personal development and for training programs.
  • Propose improvements and contribute to scalable best practices for the Training function.
  • Work with stakeholders to deliver training that supports high performance across Safety Model Operations projects.
  • Facilitate calibration sessions to ensure consistent policy application and quality standards.
  • Communicate policy updates and questions between Policy Team, Project POCs, and trainees.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using performance data and feedback; provide actionable insights to improve content and delivery.
  • Compile and present training reports and insights to team leads and management.
  • Escalate knowledge gaps through appropriate RCA channels to improve learning outcomes.
  • Identify regional learning needs and address them with targeted interventions.
  • Lead or support knowledge briefings and refresher trainings to maintain policy alignment, considering local cultural and market conditions.
  • Ensure timely delivery of training content via LMS, TCS, Rock Appeal, and other platforms.
  • Be flexible and available to backfill training coverage across regions or teams as needed.
  • Contribute to new-hire onboarding with foundational and role-specific training.
  • Conduct quality certifications, knowledge assessments, or refreshers to reinforce retention and compliance.
  • Design and develop structured training plans and materials aligned with rollout timelines and project needs.
  • Note : Role may involve exposure to sensitive or graphic content (e.g., bullying, hate speech, child safety issues, self-harm, or violence).

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with regular use and familiarity with short video platforms.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on training experience, ideally in Trust & Safety, content moderation, policy enforcement, or related operations in tech or media.
  • Excellent English and Mandarin communication skills to train diverse audiences across APAC and EMEA regions.
  • Solid understanding of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and instructional design best practices.
  • Experience delivering both virtual and in-person trainings (onboarding, upskilling, refresher).
  • Proficiency with data analysis and performance tracking tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets, dashboards) and evaluating training impact.
  • Ability to create, manage, and update training documentation, SOPs, and knowledge materials.
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Fast learner with adaptability to changing policies and operational priorities.
  • Familiarity with content moderation systems, policy implementation, or ML-related workflows is a plus.
  • Strong cross-cultural communication and sensitivity to regional working practices across Southeast and East Asia.
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced environments, resolve training challenges, and meet deadlines.
  • High emotional resilience and commitment to well-being when handling sensitive content.
  • Willingness to travel within the APAC region for short-term training assignments (up to 1 month).
