Finance and Accounting Manager

You will be the core Finance and Accounting Manager , serving as the operational leader responsible for the accuracy and integrity of all financial records, reporting, and statutory compliance. This role is essential for driving strong internal controls , performing high-level strategic analysis, and leading, mentoring, and supervising the accounting team to support the strategic growth and financial health of our specialized manufacturing business.

Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting & Analysis (Strategic Focus) – Review, finalize, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports, ensuring compliance with MFRS / IFRS; perform in-depth financial analysis including Variance Analysis , Profitability Analysis , and Cost Analysis (especially COGS and manufacturing overheads) to inform management decisions; lead annual budgeting and forecasting cycles; provide proactive financial advice on operational efficiency, cost reduction, and capital expenditure proposals.
• Accounting Operations & Supervision – Directly supervise, mentor, and manage accounting executives and assistants; oversee all daily accounting functions (AR, AP, GL) ensuring efficient workflows and timely reconciliation; design, implement, and monitor robust internal controls and financial policies; ensure statutory compliance with local tax regulations (e.g., SST / Income Tax) and manage timely statutory returns; serve as primary liaison for external auditors and tax consultants; actively manage and forecast company cash flow and liquidity.
