Job Responsibility

• Live Technical Support : The Host Assistant needs to be familiar with live streaming platforms and related technical tools, including live streaming software, cameras, microphones, audio equipment, etc. They are responsible for setting up and debugging these devices to ensure good quality of live video and audio and handle any potential technical issues that may arise.
• Content Preparation : The Deputy Host needs to closely collaborate with the main host or team to prepare live content. This may include planning programs, creating slides, preparing presentations, organizing media materials, etc. The Deputy Host also ensures that all necessary content for the live stream is properly prepared and organized.
• Live Control : During the live broadcast, the Deputy Host is responsible for controlling the progress and flow of the live stream. They need to switch different content according to the scheduled plan, play video or audio clips, adjust visuals and volume, etc. The Deputy Host typically works closely with the main host to ensure a smooth live broadcasting process.
• Social Interaction : The Deputy Host may need to interact with the audience during the live stream. This may include answering questions from the audience, explaining the live content, conducting polls or surveys, etc. The Deputy Host needs to actively engage in social interactions, establish a good rapport with the audience, and provide a satisfactory user experience.
• Data Monitoring and Analysis : The Deputy Host may need to monitor live streaming data and metrics, such as online audience count, watch duration, interactive comments, etc. They can use analytical tools to collect and analyze this data and provide feedback on audience reactions and live streaming performance to the main host or team.
• Troubleshooting and Emergency Handling : If there are technical malfunctions or other issues during the live stream, the Deputy Host needs to react quickly and perform troubleshooting. They should have the skills to address common problems and work closely with the main host or team to ensure timely resolution of issues and the continuity of the live broadcast.
• Live Stand-in : Depending on the situation, the Deputy Host may serve as a stand-in for the main host to conduct live streams.
