Responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations by processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries with precision and care.Prepare invoices, payments, and receipts accurately while ensuring all transactions are completed within required timelines.Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing activities by preparing journal entries and performing reconciliations to ensure completeness of financial data.Maintain comprehensive documentation and filing systems for accounting records so that audit readiness is always achieved.Support the preparation of detailed financial reports, schedules, and analysis as requested by management or auditors.Ensure strict compliance with company policies, relevant accounting standards, and local tax regulations at all times.Liaise effectively with internal teams, vendors, and external auditors to facilitate smooth communication and resolve any queries promptly.Contribute to other ad‑hoc finance or administrative tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager to support overall department objectives.What you bring
Hold a Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field which demonstrates your foundational knowledge of accounting principles.Possess 1‑3 years of relevant experience in accounting roles where you have developed practical skills in transaction processing and record keeping.Proficient in Mandarin speaking, reading and writing is a must to deal with China stakeholders.Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Excel as well as familiarity with accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms used for financial management.Exhibit strong attention to detail along with excellent organisational abilities that enable you to manage multiple priorities effectively while meeting deadlines.Showcase good communication skills that allow you to collaborate harmoniously within a team setting as well as interact professionally with external parties.Display a willingness to learn about local tax regulations and statutory requirements relevant to the role's responsibilities.Preferred : Bring experience gained from working in shared service centres or multinational environments which adds value through exposure to diverse practices.Preferred : Demonstrate capability to work independently when required while still being responsive to guidance from supervisors.What sets this company apart
