About the Role :
Aryan Solutions is hiring on behalf of a global financial services client in Malaysia . The team focuses on Private Equity and Real Estate Fund operations and is committed to delivering high-quality, compliant, and efficient fund servicing solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals with a strong risk and control mindset to join a growing international team and play a key role in operational governance and risk management.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support Head of Department (HOD) in policy development, risk control, and compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Participate in all departmental projects, providing advisory on risk and control aspects.
- Conduct Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and ensure proper mitigation of operational risks.
- Establish review plans, perform control testing, daily checks on high-risk items, and propose targeted mitigation plans.
- Track and report Key Risk Indicators (KRI) to management; escalate areas of concern with appropriate Risk Mitigation Plans.
- Perform process reviews for continuous quality and productivity improvement.
- Assist in reporting operational risk incidents, root cause analysis, and ensure timely closure of action items.
- Ensure adherence to change control framework for BAU and new processes.
- Act as key point of contact for all control-related issues, liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including Compliance, Risk, and Audit teams.
- Prepare MI reports and perform data analytics to provide insights for process and control improvements.
- Promote a control culture by providing training and fostering risk awareness within the department.
Qualifications & Skills :
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field or professional training in finance, risk, or operations.Strong understanding of Operational Risk frameworks and ability to identify control gaps with practical solutions.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Disciplined approach to governance and compliance.Experience in Private Equity, Real Estate Funds, or Fund Operations.Knowledge of fund accounting standards, Custody, and Transfer Agency processes.Technical skills in Macro, VBA, or coding for data analytics.Understanding of financial markets and products.Skills Required
