Material Planner - Direct

Position Overview :

The incumbent will be exposed to industrial development and the medical device environment. He / she will provide support to the supply chain area / field being assigned and complete tasks assigned by Planners / Managers / Coaches within or across divisions.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in developing and maintaining material requirement plans (MRP) based on production schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment orders to avoid shortages or excess.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Track and resolve material discrepancies or delays.
• Support data entry and maintenance of planning systems and ERP tools.
• Generate reports on material status, inventory levels, and supplier performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, production, and logistics.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize material flow and reduce waste.
• Perform other duties or assignments as requested by immediate supervisor.
• Ability to be independent and self-motivated.
• Participate in process improvement projects and provide qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Uphold and comply with Insulet Code of Conduct, Quality and HSE policy.
• Ensure compliance with safety rules, quality policies, and employee guidelines.
• Perform other duties as required.
