A barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, tea and other beverages to customers in our restaurant. They ensure high-quality drink preparation, provide excellent customer service, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide menu recommendations.
- Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages such as coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and smoothies.
- Operate coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other café equipment.
- Ensure consistency and quality in drink preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café, including workstations, tables, and equipment.
- Restock supplies such as milk, coffee beans, syrups, and pastries.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Deliver friendly, efficient, and professional customer service at all times.
Skills & Qualifications
Strong communication and customer service skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and passion for coffee / beverages.Basic math skills for handling cash and measurements.Prior barista or café experience is an advantage (but not always required).Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.Work Environment
