Project Engineer

About the role

As a Project Engineer at EXCEL M&E SDN BHD, you will play a vital role in the successful delivery of our engineering projects. Responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of projects, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards. This is a full‑time position based in Desa Parkcity, Kuala Lumpur.

What you’ll be doing

• Manage the planning, coordination and execution of engineering projects from inception to completion.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and consultants to understand requirements and specifications.
• Prepare detailed project plans, schedules and budgets, and monitor progress against these.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks, issues and delays to keep projects on track.
• Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, industry standards and safety protocols.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members.
• Prepare and present progress reports to management and clients.
• Continuously look for ways to improve project efficiencies and processes.
