Requirements
(Shipping & Forwarding Line)
Minimum 3-4 years of experience specifically in Shipping or freight forwarding company environment is MUST.
Written and spoken language proficiency in Mandarin and English (mainly deal with Mandarin-speaking clients and China agents)
Candidates must possess at least Diploma
Ability to communicate effectively and good working relationship with 3PL's, transporters, vendors, shippers and forwarding agent.
Matured candidate with own transport.
Good knowledge in computers and MS Office application with intermediate level
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues or inquiries related to order processing
Skilled in procurement, supplier sourcing, and negotiation, successfully managing multiple shipping lines and projects to secure competitive terms and ensure efficient operations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with trustworthy / integrity is required.
Strong customer service orientation and commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
Start immediately or in short period is preferred.
Responsibility
Manage international shipment by liaising with supplier and forwarders for cargo readiness and shipment schedules.
Interface with internal / external freight forwarders, logistics providers, customs brokers, and other functional areas to coordinate incoming and outgoing shipment.
Able to handle Imp + Exp (FCL / LCL) and all shipment documents.
Well versed in Import / Export documentation.
Provide all matters of customer satisfaction service includes bookings, enquiries, and requests.
Handle full set of shipping documentations-invoices, packing list, bills of lading, certificate of origin etc.
Track job progress and coordinate with all related departments to ensure the job completion with periodic daily and monthly reporting.
Provides information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
Responsible for collection of payments in compliance with due dates.
To provide necessary support and aftersales service to customer.
Prepare proposals / quotations to customers and follow up closely with the customers to turn them into actual sales.
