PROJECT ENGINEER

PROJECT ENGINEER role at Trident Innovations Sdn Bhd

Location : Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Salary : MYR3,000.00 - MYR7,000.00

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Coordinate resources, both human and material, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Monitor project progress and address any issues that arise.
• Perform or oversee the design of water / wastewater treatment plants (Mechanical and Electrical) and related infrastructure.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory standards and client requirements.
• Prepare & execute procurement documents, including specifications and requests for proposals (RFPs) and price negotiation for Mechanical / Electrical.
• Evaluate bids and select contractors and suppliers.
• Manage contracts, including negotiation, change orders, and compliance.
• Implement quality assurance and quality control measures.
• Ensure projects comply with environmental regulations, health and safety standards, and industry codes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact (will be appointed as Construction Manager for the designated project) for clients during the construction phase.
• Communicate project status, issues, and resolutions effectively.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Monitor and manage project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.
• Prepare regular progress reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Execute the project document standardization (design templates, SOP & checklist) and filing systems and processes.
