CONSULTANT (BUSINESS STRATEGY)

This full-time Consultant (Business Strategy) position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic vision and growth of Majlis Rekabentuk Malaysia (MRM) , SIRIM Berhad — a think tank, advisory, and coordinating body on industrial design, product development, and design excellence based in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

In this role, you will provide strategic advisory and consulting services to SIRIM's diverse range of clients across various industries, driving innovation, competitiveness, and growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

Conduct in-depth market and industry analyses to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges for MRM's clients.

Develop and implement new business innovation initiatives to grow and expand MRM's business portfolio.

Manage market expansion initiatives to drive revenue growth.

Lead the development of integrated strategic communication plans to support the realization of company objectives and initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 9 years of experience in a business strategy or management consulting role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills , with the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Excellent communication and presentation skills , capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and persuasively.

Proven track record in delivering high-impact strategic projects and achieving successful client outcomes.

Familiarity with strategic frameworks such as SWOT analysis , Porter’s Five Forces , and scenario planning .

Degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

Knowledge of design or design management is an added advantage.
