Responsibilities
- Lead cross functional teams of process engineers, mechanical engineers, and test engineers to develop materials, processes, and tooling for next generation cell designs.
- Technology and process transfer from low volume to high volume production.
- Owner for process integration experiments including DOE planning, execution, and analysis.
- Drive root cause analysis of process integration issue.
- Develop SPC and characterize Process Capabilities (Cpk’s).
- Create and maintain project plans and drive projects to completion.
Qualifications
BS in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or related field with 5+ years industry experience. MS or PhD with 2+ years industry experience preferred.A proven track-record of process integration in the scale-up to high-volume manufacturing is preferred.Experience in design, development, and manufacturing of Li-Ion batteries is preferred.Demonstrated technical program management skills such as meeting deadlines and milestones as well as excellent communication skills such as summarizing data and writing reports.Demonstrated capability to effectively analyze process data and extract / summarize meaningful information.Familiarity with SPC, DOE, FMEA and 8D methodologies.Fluent in English. Can effectively communicate and collaborate with colleagues around the world – in California, India, Korea and Malaysia.Enovix Corporation is an equal opportunities employer.
