Overview
We are seeking an Executive - Corporate Trust Group Legal Compliance Operation to assist in processing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. As the Executive - Corporate Trust Group Legal Compliance Operation, you will play a crucial role in supporting our day to day operations.
Responsibilities
- Legal Compliance Operational Support : Assist in servicing Institutional / Corporate Trust clients, including : Facility / Security Agent; Collective Investment Scheme - Private Mandate, Wholesale Fund, Fixed income Fund, Unit Trust Fund & etc.; REITs; Escrow Agent; Trust Funded - Employee Share Option Scheme / Share Grant Plan; Share Trustee. Support the development, implementation, and enhancement of operational policies, procedures, and controls to ensure efficient operations. Monitor operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Client Service Management : Assist in overseeing the delivery of high-quality client service to ensure client satisfaction. Address client inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally. Help establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing support and guidance as needed.
- Compliance Support : Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines governing trust companies. Monitor regulatory changes and update internal policies and procedures accordingly. Conduct periodic compliance reviews to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks. Implement risk management strategies and controls to minimize risk exposure. Monitor and report on key risk indicators and incidents.
- Team Support and Leadership : Provide support and direction to the operations team. Help set clear objectives and expectations for team members. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development. Assist in managing operational budgets and expenses effectively. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where necessary. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Technology and Systems Management : Support the implementation and maintenance of technology solutions and systems. Identify opportunities to leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and client service delivery. Ensure data security and integrity.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Law, Administration, Finance or a related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in legal compliance operations, preferably in Corporate Trust industry or Law background.Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and data management systems.Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Experience in handling bank accounts and regulatory reporting is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
