Minimum experience at least 1-3 years in related field
Background in aerospace is highly desirable, unless the candidate can show other relevant experience and an ability and eagerness to learn fast
Possess a bachelor’s degree in aerospace / chemical / industrial engineering or other similar fields
Familiarity with aerospace standards, such as NADCAP and AS9100
Good knowledge of metallic surface treatment processing, paint and NDT processes
Experience in generating the route of process planning for production
Tasks & responsibilities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the configuration management plan. Responsible for defining, implementing, managing version control and processes. Responsible for communicating and controlling release plans for first article and production.
- Responsible for conducting Configuration Reviews to include but not limited to requirements, problem reports, defects and non-conformance reports. Collaborate with the BD, Program, Quality and Production team in support of multiple, concurrent configuration baselines in line with the CM Plan.
- Provide guidance to engineers on the Configuration Management Processes they need to follow.
- Deciding on the most appropriate engineering techniques and sequences of activities for each process stage. Ensuring plans meet the customer’s specifications and requirements. Liaise and collaborate with quality team in the inspection control plan.
- Liaise with customers, BD, program and quality team on the concessions especially on the deviation gap analysis and rework. General supervising and assisting the production team on process at all stages and providing solutions to problems.
- Collaborating with all teams on technical documentation such drawings, part lists, customer specifications, standards, solution matrix and test matrix.
- Review any changes initiated or requested by customer to ensure review and approval process are carried out in a systematic manner prior to change implementation
- Ensuring that any proposed change internally for cost down or improvement purposes is reviewed and the associated risk is assessed by Change Control Board (CCB) before acceptance and approval implementation
