About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to support our complex, multi-jurisdictional operations and prepare us for future strategic goals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, implement and maintain a standardized group-wide financial control framework. Unify charts of accounts, accounting policies, and procedures across all entities, ensuring strict adherence to financial services-specific regulations
2. Multi-Entity Consolidation
Lead the end-to-end accounting operations, month-end closure and preparation of consolidated financial statements for multiple regulated and non-regulated entities, factoring in intercompany eliminations and forex implications.3. Regulatory & Management Reporting
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports to support management decision making. This includes both internal management accounts and external reports for regulatory bodies (such as FSA, ASIC, CySEC)Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulators. Ensure all financial data is accurate, compliant and ready for scrutiny. Manage financial aspects of license applications and ongoing regulatory reviews.5. Industry Specific Expertise
Oversee key brokerage accounting functions, including but not limited to :
Reconciliation and reporting.Commission and rebate accruals and recognition.6. Tax & Treasury Strategy
Participate in group-level tax planning and cross-border treasury management, optimizing for efficiency while strictly managing compliance risk in various jurisdictions.7. IPO Readiness
Develop and optimize internal financial policies, controls and documentation to build a foundation capable of supporting future potential IPO and financing activities.Qualifications & Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, CPA, ACCA or equivalent certification is required.Proven experience in a multi-entity financial services environment, ideally within a brokerage, fintech or capital markets group.Strong international accounting standard knowledge of IFRS and experience with multi-currency consolidations.Demonstrable experience with financial regulatory reporting requirements for broker-dealers or similar licensed companies.Experience working with external auditors and regulators directly.Ability to work autonomously, manage complexity and communicate clearly with non-finance stakeholders.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, structured and transparent manner.Join our globally expanding company and grow with us as we continue to build a future of success, united by our core belief : In Trust We Succeed.
