Ansell is looking for a Sr Manager, EH&S to join our team in Melaka !
In this position you will play a vital role in overseeing the development, implementation, and management of the company's environmental, health, safety, risk, and security management programs.

What your role will be
Strong EHS Compliance Expertise – Proven experience conducting inspections / audits and ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulatory bodies.Leadership & Strategy – Ability to align with regional leadership and provide technical guidance to achieve EHS and RM goals.Policy Implementation – Skilled in developing and implementing EHS policies, systems, and best practices to meet legislative and corporate standards.Audit Management – Experience in leading or supporting EHS and property insurance audits across manufacturing, warehouse, and office facilities.Training & Development – Adept at delivering EHS training programs, including computer-based learning, and increasing awareness across the organization.Safety Culture Champion – Demonstrated success in leading Behavior-Based Safety programs and engaging employees in safety initiatives.Government & Legal Liaison – Experience interfacing with regulatory bodies and managing compliance-related investigations or inspections.KPI-Driven & Budget Ownership – Strong focus on meeting EHS KPIs and managing budgets / reporting for EHS & Risk Management functions.Security & Waste Management – Knowledge of security risk assessments, CTPAT standards, and developing waste reduction / recycling strategies.Stakeholder Engagement – Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with employees, regulators, and senior leadership.What will you bring to Ansell?
A Bachelor's or higher degree in EHS, Engineering, Science or a related fieldPrimary knowledge area and working knowledge on Risk Management elements (i.e. Environment, Health, Safety, Property Protection, Crisis Management, Business Resilience, and Insurance)Competent Green Book Holder registered with DOSH.Management experience in EHS & Risk Management or Risk Control.Knowledge of WRAP, Forced Labour Prevention, Social Compliance, SMETA, and CTPAT standards.Experience in administering and maintaining safety compliance programs such as LOTO, Hazard Communication, Hearing Conservation, PPE, Hot Work, Confined Spaces, Respiratory Protection, etc.First aid and emergency response skills.Equal Opportunity Employer
