Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Test Lead with 10–12 years of experience to lead the testing efforts for a new financial application / product. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on experience with modern technologies including AWS Cloud, NodeJS, and Java Full Stack, and a solid background in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of 5 testers across the software development lifecycle.
Define and implement comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes.
Collaborate with development teams, product owners, and stakeholders to ensure quality and timely delivery.
Oversee test execution, defect management, and reporting.
Ensure thorough test coverage including functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
Drive automation initiatives and continuous improvement in testing practices.
Mentor and coach team members to enhance their technical and domain expertise.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

10–12 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.

Strong technical understanding of AWS Cloud, NodeJS, and Java Full Stack environments.

Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).

Experience in both manual and automated testing.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Note : Financial services industry experience is advantageous.
