Key Responsibilities

• Electrical Operations & Maintenance
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot HV (up to 11kV) and LV electrical systems, including switchgears, transformers, and related equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to ensure reliable and safe power distribution.
• Respond to power failures, electrical faults, and emergencies promptly to minimize downtime.
• Regulatory Compliance & Safety
• Ensure compliance with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations and statutory requirements for electrical installations.
• Maintain proper records, logbooks, and documentation as required by law and company policy.
• Implement and monitor electrical safety procedures in accordance with industry standards.
• Facility Support
• Support building operations teams to ensure all electrical systems (lighting, HVAC, lifts, escalators, chillers, etc.) function efficiently.
• Liaise with contractors, vendors, and utility providers for maintenance, repair, and system upgrades.
• Supervise and guide maintenance staff or technicians in electrical works.
• Project & Energy Management
• Assist in planning, commissioning, and upgrading of electrical systems and energy-saving initiatives.
• Provide technical advice during renovation, tenancy fit-out, and new installation works.
• Monitor energy consumption and propose cost-saving initiatives for mall / building management.
