Overview
Lead and manage all engineering, maintenance, and technical operations across the plant. Drive equipment reliability, process efficiency, and continuous improvement. Ensure team development, cross-functional coordination, and regulatory compliance to support business goals.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee mechanical, electrical, automation, control, and instrumentation activities.
- Lead preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure equipment uptime.
- Manage CAPEX projects, including planning, budgeting, and execution.
- Monitor process costs and OEE; drive cost-effective improvements.
- Maintain an effective system for inventory, manpower, cost, and performance tracking.
- Improve processes, work practices, and equipment performance.
- Drive engineering upgrades and Industry 4.0 (IoT / Automation) adoption.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, GMP, and internal standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections for housekeeping and early issue detection.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies during audits and resolve compliance issues.
- Lead and develop a capable, engaged engineering team.
- Work with other departments to solve issues, align processes, and meet goals.
- Manage budgets and KPIs; report progress and improvement plans to management.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering.
Experience
Minimum 8 years in engineering / maintenance, preferably in process or high-volume manufacturing.
Technical Knowledge
Programmable Logic Control (PLC), SCADA, AutoCADManufacturing technologies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Industry 4.0(IOT / Automation).Operational excellence principles and tools (e.g. Value streams, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma)Time study and manpower utilization calculation.Engineering Division's policies and procedures i.e. people, operations, and budgetingCertifications
Not required, but Lean, Six Sigma, or PMP is a plus.
