Duties and responsibilities
- Develop new accounts and open new markets
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations, explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to determine system requirements, including planning and modifying products to meet customer needs
- Helps clients to solve problems with installed equipment
- Develop and maintain good relationships with prospective customers, new customers, and existing customers
- Persuade customers on the excellence of our products and services
- Establish a customer database and relevant tools to manage sales activities, opportunities, and pipeline.
- Prepare monthly sales report, annual sales target, and yearly market planning
- Meet established sales quota and revenue goals
Qualifications
Possess a Diploma, Degree, or Postgraduate qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related engineering fieldAt least 1 year of working experience and a proven record in sales for engineering productsKnowledgeable in engineering products application, such as :o Centrifugal Pump
o Gear / Lobe Pump
o Vacuum Pump
o Compressor
o Plate Heat Exchanger
o Actuator
o Valve
o Tubes and Fittings
Experience in dealing with General Industries such as :o Pharmaceutical o Food and Beverage
o Personal Care o Brewery
o Palm Oil and Oleo Chemical, etc.
Able to deliver presentations to customers and integrate technical knowledge and selling skillsGood command of English in writing, speaking, and readingGood in pricing and negotiating skillsPossess own transport and willing to travel
