Summary

The Lead Engineer, Test Manufacturing accepts, transfers, installs, improves and maintains automatic test equipment and test programs that are used for product testing and design verification. They also may support the test development of the test equipment and processes to ensure robust and high quality test solutions and final products are realized.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the transition of new products and processes from engineering to manufacturing and the supply chain.
• Responsible for all manufacturing test related issues, FCT / SYST / ESS etc.
• Knowledge in operation LINUX base operating system environment.
• Responsible for all manufacturing Test equipment and fixtures setup, maintenance, calibration, evaluation and troubleshooting
• Responsible for Customer product test method, evaluation, enhancement and RMA test failure analysis.
• This position will work closely with product engineering to define manufacturing requirements within the New Product Development process.
• Manage test yield, up time performance and capacity analysis for all test processes.
• Work with the CFT team to improve test yield / quality issues and root cause analysis.
• Work with Customer to address any test related issues / request / improvement.
• Work with supplier / developer on test hardware / software development or improvement.
• Assist Test Technician in developing testers operation, maintenance and troubleshooting skill sets.
• Assist Debug Technician in developing product debugging methods and skillsets.
• Manage debug Work In Progress (WIP) inventories at minimal level
