Sales Advisor (Used Car Dealer) - Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Sales & Customer Service

Attend to customer inquiries via showroom, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.

  • Present and explain car features, specifications, and pricing to potential buyers.
  • Arrange and accompany customers for test drives.
  • Negotiate deals, prepare quotations, and close sales to achieve monthly targets.
  • Provide after-sales service, including ownership transfer, insurance, and road tax assistance.
  • Loan & Documentation

    • Assist customers with hire purchase loan applications and liaise with banks / finance companies.

  • Collect and verify customer documents (IC, payslips, bank statements, guarantor info, etc.).
  • Ensure all sales contracts, JPJ ownership transfers, and insurance renewals are processed accurately.
  • Marketing & Prospecting

    • Promote dealer’s car stock through online listings and social media.

  • Build and maintain a database of potential customers and follow up on leads.
  • Actively prospect for new customers through referrals, walk-ins, and digital platforms.
  • Social Media & TikTok Content

    • Create and post engaging TikTok / Reels content (e.g., car walkarounds, feature highlights, promotions).

  • Showcase new arrivals, promotions, and customer testimonials on social media.
  • Collaborate with management for digital marketing campaigns (e.g., festive promos, trade-in deals).
  • Engage with online followers (reply to comments, messages) to generate sales leads.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum SPM or equivalent; sales / automotive experience is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Familiar with social media platforms (TikTok, Facebook, Instagram).
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and willing to work on weekends / public holidays.
  • Possess valid driving license and own transport.
