The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IP and Fixed Access network rollout and integration projects. This includes delivery of OLT, FTTx, IP, DNS platforms, and VNF network functions under various operator scenarios. Strong execution, field coordination, and cross-domain integration are key to this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed rollout and integration plans for IP / Fixed Access projects based on scope, assumptions, and known constraints. Identify key delivery scenarios (e.g., migration, expansion), define milestones and deliverables, and manage task breakdown by site, module, and activity type.
- Track daily progress for key implementation tasks including transmission readiness, configuration, commissioning, and acceptance. Use digital tools to monitor execution and escalate risks or deviations early.
- Coordinate delivery preparation involving access fiber, transmission readiness, IP configuration pre-checks, and other critical dependencies. Work closely with technical and subcontractor teams to resolve risks and blockers.
- Ensure alignment on scope and site readiness between planning, engineering, implementation, and customer interface teams. Drive consistency in scope understanding and delivery expectations.
- Maintain control of resource check-in / out, monitor subcontractor deployment efficiency, and ensure timely material availability with proper documentation and tagging.
- Manage configuration data, IP planning input, and version control across multi-vendor systems. Ensure smooth handover from integration to acceptance with complete documentation.
- Enforce quality standards during implementation and testing, ensuring checklists, procedures, and acceptance forms are properly executed and closed.
- Monitor project cost, track delivery versus budget, and work with internal teams to reduce waste and improve installation efficiency.
- Drive digital platform usage to improve visibility of project status and data quality, including material management, work order tracking, and KPI dashboards.
- Communicate clearly and regularly with internal stakeholders, customers, and subcontractors on plan, risk, and issues. Prepare concise reports and ensure issues are escalated appropriately.
- Take extended responsibility in areas such as managing key subcontractors, overseeing PR / PO process for BOQ-based delivery, or optimizing regional material utilization.
