Overview
To lead and manage the panel hospital network, ensuring strong partnerships, effective operations, and commercially sustainable arrangements that support Company’s healthcare objectives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end relationship with panel hospitals, including onboarding, performance monitoring, and periodic reviews.
- Negotiate and secure commercially favourable terms with hospitals to support sustainable healthcare costs.
- Oversee and resolve operational matters related to panel hospitals, including service issues, complaints, and escalations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align hospital operations with business requirements.
- Profile non-cooperative, overcharging providers leading to exclusion of these doctors from the network.
- Monitor and analyse hospital utilisation and trends to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Support core functions such as hospital profiling, specialist profiling, cost containment, and implementation of service-level improvements.
- Lead, provide guidance, coaching and performance management.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks from management as required.
- Take accountability for business and regulatory compliance risks and implement appropriate mitigation steps.
- Maintain awareness of industry trends on regulatory compliance, emerging threats and technologies to safeguard the company.
- Highlight potential concerns / risks and proactively share best risk management practices.
Who we are looking for
Have 5–8 years of experience in insurance and healthcare, with proven managerial experience.Possess a valid APC or have experience in a private hospital (an advantage).Demonstrate strong business acumen and excellent skills in communication, analysis, negotiation, organization and problem-solving.Are tactful, detail-oriented, and proficient in Excel and data analysis.High level of integrity, takes accountability for work and maintains a good attitude toward teamwork.Takes initiative to improve the current state of things and is adaptable to embrace new changes.How you succeed
