Manager, Data & AI Business Analyst

Awantec is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Data & AI Business Analyst Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business objectives and technology solutions, particularly within the realm of cloud-based services, system integration, and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead complex business analysis efforts, drive process optimisation, and provide critical insights to inform strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and qualifying clients by analysing their data needs, challenges, and opportunities for leveraging analytics & AI solutions.
• Help translate technical features of data analytics and Generative AI solutions into clear business value propositions tailored to client objectives.
• Contribute to preparing presentations, demonstrations, and proof‑of‑concepts to showcase the effectiveness and potential of our analytics & AI solutions.
• Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems and enhance data‑analytic & AI‑driven applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, to integrate AI solutions into existing products and services.
• Conduct data analysis, preprocessing, and feature engineering to extract valuable insights from large datasets, improving model performance.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI, data analytics, and machine learning, and incorporate them into AI development projects.
• Optimise Data Analytics & AI models for performance, scalability, and efficiency, leveraging cloud‑based resources and distributed computing frameworks.
• Actively participate in code reviews and collaborative problem‑solving sessions, contributing to the improvement of AI & Data Analytics solutions and development processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve AI and Data analytics‑related issues, ensuring the reliability and accuracy of AI‑driven applications
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading of large and complex data sets from various source systems.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and testing within ETL processes.
• Assist in developing proposals and responses to RFPs / RFQs, ensuring alignment with client needs and analytics & AI capabilities.
• Stay informed on the latest trends in data science, analytics, and AI technologies, and provide insights on how these innovations can enhance business outcomes.
• Provide hands‑on support in data collection, preparation, analysis, and visualisation for client projects, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the insights.
• Assist in documenting business processes and creating reports that enable data‑driven decision‑making and strategic planning for clients.
