Sales Engineer / Account Manager (CAD / CAM / CAE)
Proactively seek out and acquire new clients, driving the growth of our Engineering Solutions businesses.
Accurately identify customer needs, developing and nurturing relationships with both existing and potential customers primarily within the engineering and manufacturing industries.
Provide exceptional customer support by guiding clients toward successful outcomes.
Foster strong relationships with clients and internal team members to ensure effective communication and problem‑solving.
Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts, support existing customers, and expand product range and usage in the assigned territory with a proactive mindset focused on exceeding sales growth.
- Ensure personal sales target is met.
- Cultivate strong relationships with customers.
- Organize and plan proper scheduling of sales activities.
- Manage existing customers and prospect new customers in the targeted engineering and manufacturing markets.
- Ensure timely and accurate forecast – monthly and quarterly.
- Maintain a healthy sales funnel size – 3× the target.
- Submit timely and accurate sales activity reports.
- Execute BFT sales activities to ensure effective sales management.
- Prepare sales reports as required by the business unit head or management.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Mechanical / Mechatronic or any Engineering related field.Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably selling into manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aviation, aerospace, tool & die, tooling, etc.Experience in selling engineering software, products or services (e.g., Catia, UG NX, CAE, Solidworks, Autodesk, CAD, Factory Automation, Industrial Automation, IoT, CNC) is a bonus.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.Goal‑oriented, highly motivated, and able to work under pressure.Sales‑driven with strong customer support orientation.Own transportation is an added advantage.Competitive base salary with performance bonus.Comprehensive life and health insurance coverage.Opportunities for continued learning and development with experienced mentors.Additional Details
