Job Purpose

You will be responsible for the planning, reviewing and making decisions on Prophet model changes due to new product requirement, regulatory requirement and any other model enhancement for Malaysia and regional entities and oversee adhoc modelling project such as merging of Prophet models, implementing modelling solution like PE / IDR and upgrade of prophet software / libraries

Job Responsibilities

  • You will maintain the prophet model to meet financial & statutory reporting purpose
  • You must ensure accuracy & reliability of the Prophet model
  • You will provide valuation (including IFRS17) and pricing assistance to regional entities that requires head office support and the actuarial support on the rollout of the IFRS17 for the regional activities.
  • You will provide support,

advise and monitor the financial results in relation to Actuarial services of local entities

  • You must communicate to clients closely to understand the customer's requirements and actively promote company's products and services to fulfill these requirements for new and renewal accounts.

    • Job Requirements

  • You must possess at least a bachelor's degree in actuarial science
  • You must have at least 6 – 7 years of working experience in an actuarial role either in a life or general insurance work environment.
  • You must demonstrate good progress in actuarial professional papers
  • You must be proficient in MS Excel, Word and actuarial software (Prophet) and demonstrate proficiency in RBC & other actuarial projections.
  • You must possess strong communication, analytical & leadership skills to enable further success in this role.
