As a Security Engineer reporting to the Senior Engineering Manager, you’ll be responsible for securing the AWS infrastructure of a dynamic and fast‑growing financial services organisation. Your focus will be on building a mature cloud security framework, managing security incidents escalated by an external SOC, and collaborating across teams to embed security into everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure security and monitoring for both cloud and on‑premises environments.
• Secure AWS cloud workloads using native tools such as Security Hub, Inspector, GuardDuty, and Detective.
• Drive continuous cloud and endpoint vulnerability management efforts.
• Handle security incidents from detection to resolution, ensuring a rapid and effective response.
• Maintain strong endpoint protection across all user devices.
• Work cross‑functionally to integrate security best practices into operational workflows.
