OVERALL SCOPE OF JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a skilled and passionate
Thai Chef
to prepare authentic and high-quality Thai cuisine. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of traditional Thai ingredients, cooking methods, and presentation.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest food quality, kitchen hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
SPECIFIC DUTIES & PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and cook authentic Thai cuisine, including curries, stir-fries, noodle dishes, soups, and traditional Thai desserts.
- Ensure high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety in all aspects of food preparation and kitchen operations.
- Develop and update Thai menu items based on seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and culinary trends.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen, in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, order supplies as needed and implement food cost control measures.
- Train, supervise, and support junior kitchen staff or kitchen assistants as required.
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities.
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portioning across all dishes.
- Accommodate dietary needs and special requests from customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Lead or assist in Thai cooking classes for guests, providing an engaging and educational culinary experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS :
Proven experience as a Thai Chef or Cook, preferably in a high-paced restaurant or hotel.In-depth knowledge of Thai cuisine and regional specialties.Ability to work under pressure and in a team-oriented environment.Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety standards.Culinary training or certificationGood communication and time management skills.Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.Creative approach to modern and traditional Thai dishes.Passion for culinary arts and continuous improvement.Knowledge of other Southeast Asian cuisines is a plus.Positive attitudeCommitted to delivering a high level of customer serviceExcellent grooming standardsExcellent planning and organizing skillsWillingness to learnPlease feel free submit your application by submit your Resume / CV to the following emails : -
