Job Overview

HCLTech seeks a SAP FICO Functional Consultant to lead implementation projects in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

  • Manage SAP FICO implementation projects.
  • Configure FICO modules based on business requirements and best practices.
  • Provide guidance on SAP FICO functionalities and processes.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP FICO with other systems.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for SAP FICO solutions.
  • Train end‑users and provide post‑implementation support and maintenance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and SAP advancements to continuously improve processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of SAP experience with deep business process knowledge across the Finance space.
  • In‑depth knowledge of SAP FICO modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Controlling.
  • Proficiency in SAP S / 4HANA and ECC versions.
  • Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Experience in SAP FICO implementation, configuration, and support.
  • Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
  • Project management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications : SAP Certified Application Associate Financial Accounting with SAP ERP 6.0 EHP7.
  • Previous experience working with a global template for large multinational organizations.
  • Prefer some level of prior business experience supporting the Finance function.
  • Strong functional knowledge of FICO functionality including GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Treasury, COPA.
  • Demonstrated capability to graphically document workflow, roles and responsibilities at a functional system user level.
  • Demonstrated capability to transform business requirements into functional specifications.
