Network Presales Engineer

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Network Presales Engineer to join our client’s team. This role will suit someone with a strong technical foundation in networking—ideally with expertise in Cisco or Aruba technologies—and an interest in supporting enterprise clients through the full presales cycle. You will work closely with sales and technical teams, engaging directly with customers to design and propose solutions, prepare documentation, deliver presentations, and provide technical leadership throughout bids and proposals.

Experience in network security would be an advantage, particularly around firewalls, access control, and secure design.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and propose appropriate solutions.
• Design network architectures and prepare proposals leveraging Cisco or Aruba technologies (switching, routing, wireless).
• Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts to customers.
• Provide technical input for tenders, RFPs, and solution documentation.
• Collaborate with internal implementation teams to ensure seamless handover from presales to delivery.
• Build strong relationships with customers, maintaining credibility as a trusted technical advisor.
• Stay up to date with vendor technologies, licensing models, and best practices.
• (Optional) Contribute to security discussions around firewalls, VPN, NAC, or related solutions.
