About the Role :

We’re seeking an experienced IT Disaster & Recovery Expert to lead the planning, implementation, and maintenance of our disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in risk management, backup solutions, and recovery planning — ensuring that critical systems remain secure and operational in any situation.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-level disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Conduct risk assessments and identify potential system vulnerabilities.

Develop and test recovery procedures to ensure minimal downtime during incidents.

Collaborate with IT, security, and infrastructure teams to align DR plans with business objectives.

Manage backup solutions and ensure data integrity across systems.

Document all disaster recovery strategies, policies, and test results.

Provide guidance and training to technical teams on DR best practices.

Qualifications :

Must be Disaster Recovery Certified Expert (DRCE) – certification is required.

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.

Proven experience in IT disaster recovery, business continuity, or related domains.

Strong understanding of cloud environments, virtualization, and data backup technologies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with Veeam, VMware SRM, or other disaster recovery tools.

Knowledge of ITIL or ISO 22301 standards.

Familiarity with hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
