Sr Engineer, Project

Job Summary :

The Engineer, Project is responsible for overseeing and managing interconnect projects and initiatives within an organization. The Engineer, Project will collaborate with the cross-functional team to ensure projects are executed successfully and meet project objectives.

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Project planning and coordination

Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets for the projects.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, planners, production, and buyers to ensure effective communication, coordination, and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.

Work closely with engineering teams on the project and product requirements.

Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project timelines.

Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to define the testing and quality assurance to ensure they meet the required performance, functionality, and quality standards.

Identify potential risks during projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables.

Actively seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Education :

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or a related scientific field is required.

Physical requirements / Work Environment :

This position primarily works in an office environment but will spend a fair amount of time in a production environment. Must be able to travel on a periodic basis both domestically and internationally (including Mexico). The ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand or sit for extended periods and require being able to lift / carry up to 50 Lbs.
