Finance Manager / Asst Finance Manager

Penerangan pekerjaanLead the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and periodic financial reports. Analyze financial data, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights to support cost optimization and operational efficiency. Ensure timely completion of statutory, tax, internal, gratuity, and other audits. Monitor compliance with GST, income tax, and other statutory regulations, including timely return filings and responses to notices. Coordinate with banks for transactions, queries, and optimizing banking operations. Ensure periodic physical verification and reconciliation of fixed assets with appropriate documentation and approvals. Develop and implement financial policies and controls to strengthen internal processes. Identify areas for cost rationalization in collaboration with cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of GL, AP, Payroll, and Malaysia local statutory compliance. 5–8 years of experience in finance and accounts, preferably in the logistics, supply chain, or transportation industry. Excellent analytical, communication, and team leadership abilities. Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills. Open to both shared services background and commercial full set background. Must have the mindset of self-starter in growing a team.

Responsibilities
Core Financial Operations & Controls
- Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of the General Ledger, including periodic closing and reconciliation of accounts.
- Oversee Accounts Payable processes including vendor payments, reconciliations, credit period management, and compliance with internal approval workflows.
- Supervise payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timely disbursal, statutory deductions, and compliance with labor laws.
Financial Planning, Budgeting & Analysis
Audit, Compliance & Statutory Liaison
Banking, Vendor, and Asset Management
Process Improvement & Strategic Support
Requirements
Salary. Up to MYR 10,000 – 12,000 per month.
Location. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
