Tax Associate

Penerangan pekerjaanPerform basic tax computations for companies and individuals. Compile financial data from accounting records to support tax calculations. Assist in preparing deferred tax computations for audit purposes. Liaise with clients to gather tax-related information. Communicate deadlines and tax obligations to clients. Respond to client queries on basic tax matters. Assist in preparing documentation and responses for tax audits or tax investigations conducted by LHDN . Work with seniors or managers to compile and submit requested documents. Conduct research on Malaysian tax laws , rulings, and updates from LHDN. Support the team in preparing tax advisory memos and reports. Keep updated with latest changes in Income Tax Act , public rulings , transfer pricing rules , etc. Assist in the preparation and filing of SST returns if required. Help clients ensure compliance with SST rules and deadlines. Maintain proper records of tax filings and correspondence. Support internal workflow and project tracking tools. Bachelor's degree in Accounting , or related field. Good communication and time management skills. a team player.
Tax Compliance
- Prepare and file individual , corporate , and partnership tax returns .
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of tax returns to LHDN .
- Assist with estimated tax payments , tax computations , and tax installments (CP204, CP500).
- Monitor and maintain tax filing deadlines.
