Junior Business Development Executive – RESET Team
About the Job
The Business Development Executive (RESET Team) supports the company's renewable energy, sustainability, and engineering solutions initiatives. This role focuses on growing RESET's business lines — including solar projects, custom AC box solutions, modular trunking, community energy consulting, and climate-related services. Key responsibilities include prospecting new leads, engaging partners, preparing proposals, and supporting project execution.
This is a role designed for motivated individuals who want to build a career in business development while gaining hands-on exposure to sustainability, energy solutions, and green technology consulting. A successful candidate will report directly to the Senior Business Development Executive (RESET) and, when required, to the Managing Director. The role provides dynamic opportunities to learn and grow professionally within a fast-moving sector.
Duties & Responsibilities
Business Development Support
- Research and identify potential clients, vendors, and project partners in renewable energy and sustainability.
- Assist in preparing proposals, technical-commercial decks, and client presentations.
- Conduct outreach (calls, emails, meetings) to initiate contact with potential partners.
- Track leads and maintain accurate outreach records using internal CRM tools.
Project & Documentation
Support project development activities, including solar installations, AC box / trunking solutions, and consulting deliverables.Assist in coordinating with suppliers, EPC partners, and contractors.Maintain updated records of contracts, NDAs, vendor agreements, and project documentation.Content & Information Management
Compile industry intelligence on renewable energy, solar trends, sustainability policies, and competitor activities.Maintain RESET knowledge bases and technical-commercial reference materials.Prepare summary briefs and progress updates for senior management.Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the Senior Business Development Executive (RESET) to support stakeholder engagements (corporates, ministries, developers, EPCs).Participate in external events (energy forums, exhibitions, conferences) to build brand awareness and generate leads.Facilitate coordination between RESET's Business Development, Engineering, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or related disciplines.Prior experience in a similar role or internship preferred, but fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.Skill Sets
Bilingual proficiency in English and Malay, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.Quick learner with the ability to grasp technical and commercial concepts.Team player with excellent collaboration skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (advanced Excel skills are an advantage).Familiarity with project management tools and CRM software is a bonus.Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, and green technology solutions.Compensation and Benefits
