Overview
Responsible for ensuring that buildings and their services meet the needs of the people who work in them. Facilities managers are accountable for services such as cleaning, security and parking, to ensure the surrounding environment is suitable to work. They also manage building maintenance with heating and air conditioning to maintain the working environment.
Responsibilities
- Ability to handle a team of maintenance head, technicians, cleaning supervisors and cleaning crew and monitor their performance.
- Ensure that all operating standards and guidelines follow Company’s policies and procedures.
- Ensuring cost-effectiveness of procurement processes with excellent negotiation skills with vendors.
- Asset management and inventory management.
- Ability to plan and execute services according to contract and agreement.
- Energy management / reduction initiatives across facility as well as utilities management.
- Sound understanding on Government Law which related to building facility managements and cleaning requirement.
- Verify supervisor’s planning, attend meeting with client, manage customer complaints, conduct internal troubleshooting meeting, inspect and monitor daily operation activities and verify monthly purchases.
- Responsible for other duties and functions as stipulated in Quality Management System and shall : Ensure that the quality management system conforms to the requirements of ISO 9001; Ensure the processes are delivering their intended outputs; Report on the performance of the quality management system and on opportunities for improvement in particular to top management; Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization; and Ensure that the integrity of the quality management system is maintained when changes to the quality management system are planned and implemented.
Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in electrical power engineering or civil engineering; or possessed BO11kV Chargeman certificate; or experience in Construction or M&E or Building Facility maintenance and management with minimum 5 years of working experience.Preferably specializing in Maintenance / Repair (Facilities) or equivalent. (Retail experience is an advantage).Ability to manage and administer the overall aspect of operationsGood leadership to inspire and motivate team members to achieve company goals and objective.Ensure the highest standard of cleanliness are met in the company.Excellent organization skills, service oriented, pleasant and courteous disposition.Be careful - Don’t provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.
