Officer - Strategist (Petaling Jaya) – Join to apply for the Officer - Strategist (Petaling Jaya) role at KPMG Malaysia. As part of the team, you will support the firm’s efforts in driving meaningful change across the four pillars of Planet, People, Prosperity, and Governance. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainability, social impact, and corporate responsibility, with a strong interest in bringing ideas to life through research, initiatives, and engagement. Responsibilities

Perform research, materiality assessments and technical analyses to support the Firm’s Impact agenda, including the Net Zero by 2030 ambition. Assist in developing initiatives, policy considerations, frameworks and action plans that advance the objectives of under the pillars of Planet, People, Prosperity and Governance. Curate and deliver internal engagement projects, communications and firmwide announcements related to initiatives. Coordinate and support photo and video shoots for internal branding purposes, including preparing content for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Draft write-ups, articles and media materials to highlight the firm’s Impact achievements and stories. Provide coordination and administrative support for events, campaigns and programs under the Impact portfolio. Liaise with stakeholders including internal departments, leadership teams, schools, NGOs and community partners to ensure smooth execution of Impact initiatives and programs. Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with preferably a CGPA of 3.2 or Second Upper or other equivalent qualification (i.e., Professional Qualification). Impeccable leadership qualities with a proven track record in extracurricular activities and involvements (e.g., clubs, volunteering, sports). Eloquent and excellent writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills with the ability to curate and communicate content for different audiences. Sound project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines. Highly driven, independent, and results-oriented with an agile and analytical mindset. Team player with enthusiasm and confidence in working with numerous stakeholders. Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and basic design tools (Canva, Premiere Pro, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop or equivalents). Details
