We are looking for Information Technology Associate / Senior Associate.
Position Overview
The position will be responsible for supporting IT matters with the internal users and work with vendors to support cases related to the branch. The candidate will be required to drive action plans in improving system performance and provide problem and configurations management.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer, maintain and support the server room facilities, desktop (including peripherals), network infrastructure, server backup solution, Wintel based systems at Head Office, and DR center.
- Administer and maintain the physical and logical security of IT related infrastructure and systems.
- Ensure policy, guidelines and procedures are adhered all times.
- Maintain and update all documentation related to data center operations and IT infra.
- Supervise and execute the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
- Plan and execute IT infra related projects.
- Perform R&D and propose cost effective IT infra related solution.
- Supervise the monitoring of system capacity and reviewing of system logs.
- Execute systems program migrations.
- Ensure that the EOD / EOM batch job processing are conducted in a systematic manner.
- Ensure all software used are current version and licensed.
- Introduce and implement new policies and procedures.
- Manage the inventory of computer forms, tape media and hardware devices in data center.
- Report and notify the supervisor for any issues and errors detected.
- Standby after office hour on rotation basis to ensure system availability.
- To perform duties as may be assigned by the Superior from time to time.
Work Requirements
IT experience with at least 5 years in supporting end users.Participate into and coordinate with various business units for IT projects and enhancements.Assist branches on IT issues and coordinate between branches and IT Dept for the related process.Assist in IT planning for branches and handle user maintenance review from branches.Pro‑actively drive system improvements and defects prevention to add value to Business.Good technical, analytical skills.Zero‑defect mind set to ensure quality of work delivered.Pro‑actively manage risks related matters and ensure there are no overdue items.Provide onsite support after office hours.Effective communication and inter‑personal skill.Work independently and detail oriented.Ability to negotiate and renew contracts.Able to manage a server room.A strong risk mindset to ensure adherence to the Company’s, Group’s and Regulators’ requirements.Self‑motivation, strong time management skills, ability to work effectively under pressure.Technical Skills
