Responsibilities :
- Responsible to assist the Chef to ensure that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
- Responsible to assist the Chef to plan the menu, keeping in mind budget, and availability of seasonal ingredients.
- Responsible to coordinate with kitchen staff, and assist them as required.
- Responsible to trained staff to prepare and cook all the menu items.
- Responsible for the stock of ingredients and equipment, and placing orders to replenish stock.
- Responsible to ensure safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
- Responsible to create and propose to the Management for the new recipes to keep the menu fresh.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends.
Requirements :
Culinary Certificate, Diploma Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Higher Graduate Diploma / DVM / DKM Level 4 / DLKM Level 5 or Degree preferred.2-3 years Western kitchen food service or restaurant experience required.Familiarity with general kitchen equipment and appliances.
