Key impact

As a Freight Logistics and Operations specialist, you optimise processes and ensure that inventory and shipments move efficiently, supporting vital medicines, turbines and semiconductors.

Responsibilities

• Create / complete shipment details in our internal transport management system, coordinate with stakeholders, organize transport, obtain DG approvals and raise discrepancies.
• Monitor and report on operational performance of carriers and vendors, ensuring strong data quality for accurate customer reporting.
• Create files for consolidation containers (Master).
• Review and ensure alignment of shipping instructions, clarifying deviations while applying country regulations, export compliance, route info.
• Issue and accurately submit all required documentation (BAL specimen, carrier OBL instructions, VGM and security filings, sales invoices) within 24 hours of departure.
• Confirm departures (or deviations) and share with CCLs.
• Release BAL B / L per financial guidelines.
• Improve cost awareness and efficiency through timely, accurate cost / revenue updates and profit maximization.
• Verify incoming supplier invoices, resolving rate discrepancies.
• Support and resolve claims and disputes.
