Job Scope
We are seeking a creative and strategically minded Senior Social Media Executive with a strong command of social platforms, content trends and digital strategy, combined with hands-on design capabilities. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact social media content to engage and grow our audience, while also designing visually compelling assets that align with our brand identity. The role will play a key part in ensuring that all messaging is consistent, effective and visually cohesive across all digital touchpoints.
Job Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and schedule engaging content across key social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, TikTok, etc).
- Develop and maintain a monthly content calendar in collaboration with internal teams.
- Design high-quality static and motion content for social media (e.g. posts, stories, carousels, reels, banners).
- Write clear, on-brand copy and captions that align with our voice and objectives.
- Design other marketing visuals as needed — including assets for merchandise, website, digital campaigns, internal comms, and more.
- Monitor and respond to social media inquiries, messages, and comments in a timely and professional manner, ensuring alignment with the organization's tone and values.
- Monitor content performance, generate insights, and optimize based on data and trends.
- Stay up to date with platform changes, design trends, and audience behaviors.
- Provide live or real-time content coverage for events or key campaigns when required.
- Collaborate with external vendors or agencies when needed.
- Support brand consistency across all visuals and messaging.
Additional Responsibilities
Review all internal and external marketing and communication materials to ensure consistency with brand guidelines and visual identity.Maintain and manage an organised archive of all creative assets, including videos, photos, and campaign files.Undertake any other ad-hoc duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management from time to time.Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Design, Digital Media or related fields.3 - 5 years of professional work experience in social media content creation, digital marketing, or related roles.Proven experience in graphic design for digital platforms, with a portfolio of social media and visual design work.Technical Skills
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Canva or equivalent design and video editing tools.Familiarity with social media scheduling and analytics tools.Strong copywriting and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for different platforms and audiences.Strong command of Bahasa Malaysia and English language (written and spoken).Excellent communication and coordination skills, with a strong ability to execute and deliver under tight deadlines.Strong knowledge of social media platforms, current trends and best practices in content creation and audience engagement.Core Competencies
