Registered Staff Nurse

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all policies, activities, procedures, and instructions as relevant and required by the Quality System.
• Serve as patient advocate and health educator for patients and relatives.
• Maintain liaison with doctors and consultants of the hospital.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain medical records.
• Assume responsibility for the total plan of care for all assigned patients and work according to policies and professional standards.
• Carry out doctors' and / or specialists' orders in conformance with standardized techniques and procedures as well as to provide quality care.
• Maintain the safety of patients in your care.
• Promote harmonious and effective work relationships within the unit and with the medical and auxiliary staff in coordinating patient total needs.
• Demonstrate qualities of a role model by sharing your expertise with co-workers.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the patient — at the bedside and outpatient setting.
• Carry out any duties assigned or instructed by Management as required.
