Penerangan pekerjaanRegistered Nurse with a current and valid Annual Practice Certificate (APC) from Malaysian Nursing Board. Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with at least 5 years of Nursing working experience. Able to provide high-quality patient care in various disciplines when performing clinical procedures. Able to maintain confidentiality in handling patients’ health information. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written in English, Malay and Mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking client and stakeholder. There are 1 full-time positions available. Able to start immediately is an added advantage. Job Type : Full-time MEDICAL CHECK-UP : The comprehensive Medical Check Up service provides same day reports with Dietitian and Doctor consultation and collection of your medical report MEDICAL AND SURGICAL SPECIALIST SERVICES : Life Care offers a wide range of highly skilled personalized medical and surgical specialty care dedicated to the treatment of a full spectrum of injuries, illnesses and disorders, including consultancy services in more than 20 specialized fields, with dedicated operating theaters for day-care surgery. DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING FACILITIES : Imaging services including radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, bone densitometry and mammography, provided by GE Healthcare. LABORATORY FACILITIES : Clinical chemistry, immunoassay, hematology, serology and urinalysis using automated analyzers from Roche, Abbott, and Hitachi; IEC / ISO standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide effective nursing care such as conducting basic medical tests to patients and handling patients’ health screening process.
- Provide assistance and support to the doctor in all aspects of the medical operations and procedures.
- Provide hands-on care to patients by administering blood drawing, managing intravenous lines, observing and monitoring patients’ conditions, maintaining records, and communicating with the doctor
- Ensure that nursing procedures are carried out following MOH guidelines.
- Possess excellent communication and customer service skill.
- Ensure administration work is completed and updated at the end of the day.
- Able to multitask, such as proper documentation, passing confidential documents, and maintaining accurate and detailed notes, reports, and records.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality in respect of patient records, medical nursing, and allied health professionals.
- To perform other duties as assigned by the Nurse Manager.
