About the role

We are seeking a talented Production Executive to join the dynamic team at United Kotak Berhad. As a Production Executive, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing operations, responsible for overseeing the production planning and scheduling processes. This full-time position is based in our Kulai Johor facility, where you will contribute to the company's growth and success in the manufacturing, transport and logistics industry.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement effective production plans to meet customer demands and business objectives
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials, to optimise production efficiency
Monitor and analyse production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Liaise with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and quality control, to ensure seamless production operations
Participate in the continuous improvement of production processes and procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to production activities
Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience in a production, planning, or scheduling role within the manufacturing, transport, or logistics industry

Strong understanding of production planning and scheduling techniques, including capacity planning, material requirements planning, and inventory management

Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
