Responsible for daily accounting entries, maintaining general ledgers, verifying accounting documents, preparing and recording journal vouchers, maintaining accounting records, and ensuring all transactions are accurately entered. Conduct monthly and yearly closing of accounts on time. Prepare and review accounting statements and reports for management. Compile and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure all reports comply with accounting standards and internal company policies.
Tax and Compliance
- Calculate and review tax-related matters, including SST, income tax, and withholding tax.
- Prepare and submit tax declarations and other government-related financial documents accurately and on schedule.
- Ensure compliance with Malaysia’s financial, tax, and legal regulations.
Cost Control and Audit
Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation and records.Conduct regular account reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.Assist in cost analysis, budgeting, and expenditure control.Manage and reconcile bank statements, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR).Ensure all payment transactions are accurate, timely, and properly documented.Track outstanding receivables and liaise with departments to ensure prompt collection.Document & System Management
Maintain accurate and organized financial documents, including invoices, vouchers, and receipts.Keep financial data confidential and ensure records are properly archived.Utilize accounting software for efficient and standardized data entry and reporting.Education & Qualifications
Marital Status : No restrictionEducation : Bachelor’s degree or above (Diploma holders with solid experience will be considered)Major : Accounting, Finance, or related fields preferredLanguage : Proficient in English, Malay, and Mandarin (for daily communication)Experience : At least 2 years of accounting experience in a manufacturing company preferredFamiliar with Malaysia’s accounting, finance, and tax regulationsSkills and Competencies
