Familiarize and understand the and other relevant occupational safety and health laws and standards, ensure that all activities at the workplace comply with regulations.
Conduct regular risk assessments of the workplace to identify factors that may pose threats to employee health and safety, develop and implement risk prevention measures and safety improvement plans.
Formulate audit plan according to risk management, conduct safety audit and solve all hazards during safety audit.
Organize and implement occupational safety and health training programs for employees.
Formulate and maintain Emergency Response Plans and regularly conduct emergency drills to ensure all employees know how to act in emergencies.
Supervise the implementation and maintenance of safety and health measures at the workplace.
Ensure that all safety equipment and protective gear are in good condition and that employees use them correctly.
Participate in the investigation of any accidents or near-miss incidents that occur at the workplace, analyze the causes of accidents and propose preventive measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.
Ensure no hazard occurs at workplace during audit by external safety auditor or regulatory authority, solve all hazards.
Provide regular safety reports to management, summarizing inspection findings, hazard rectifications, and overall safety performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor\'s Degree, Postgraduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) matters in manufacturing industry.
Certified Safety & Health Officer with a valid Green Book (registered with DOSH) is required.
Familiar with OSHA 45001 : 2018 standards.
Proficient in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in Mandarin as need to liaise with HQ in China.
