Overview
Develop lesson plans for day-to-day teaching activities and establish learning objectives for the day based on curriculum plans and guidelines provided. Support the centre's daily duties in relation to the overall operations of the centre. Conduct classroom sessions for assigned level and work with the teaching team regarding the children in their class. Monitor, record and provide feedback on a child’s learning growth progress through classroom assessment and evaluation. Ensure safety and emotional well-being of the children are properly cared for. Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and the teaching team. Guide and mentor Support English Teachers. Manage logistics planning for non-curriculum activities (e.g. field trips) and festive activities. Attend mandatory trainings and professional development courses when needed.
Responsibilities

- Conduct classroom sessions for the assigned level and collaborate with the teaching team regarding the children in the class.
- Manage class records, children’s portfolios, and communication via the internal platform.
- Monitor and document a child’s learning growth progress and provide feedback through classroom assessments and evaluations.
- Ensure the safety and emotional well-being of children is properly cared for.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with parents and the teaching team.
- Guide and mentor Support English Teachers.
- Plan logistics for non-curricular activities (e.g. field trips) and festive activities.
- Attend mandatory trainings and pursue professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
Early Childhood Education certificate holders preferred. However, keen applicants from a different industry with at least one (1) year of prior working experience in early childhood education are encouraged to apply.Good understanding of child development and learning needs with the ability to engage with children aged 1.5 – 6 years.Good interpersonal and communication skills, creative, proactive, and have a positive learning attitude.Preferred skills : classroom setup, preparation and routine management, basic first aid knowledge.#J-18808-Ljbffr
