Overview

The Operation and Monitoring Corporate Trainee will provide day-to-day support to team members, especially on daily operations and documentation. This includes understanding the monitoring process, serving as gatekeeper of knowledge documents, supporting the team to open / update / close incidents, learning to create a task in ServiceNow and basic troubleshooting of incidents. Responsible for assisting Team Head with tracking documents (e.g., KPI) on a monthly basis and documenting it in SharePoint.

Responsibilities

  • The Operation and Monitoring Corporate Trainee must be team oriented, organize their own activities, work autonomously and with full accountability.
  • Client Server Corporate Trainee Support : Assist with troubleshooting client / server issues and provide quick solutions. Must proactively learn and work on the issue.
  • Collaboration with IT Teams : Work with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of applications and solutions.
  • Training and Development : Keep learning and using new technologies and methods relevant to the role (part of daily training).
  • Coordinate weekend activity meetings and prepare documentation for them.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures related to client-server operations, security and data privacy.
  • Additional Tasks : Participate in other projects / tasks as assigned by senior or Team Head.

Formal Education & Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Professional Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science.
  • Specialist knowledge : Preferably Entry Level in IT or equivalent. No work experience required. Minimum CGPA 3.0.
  • Strong team player with interpersonal and communication skills. Fluent English (verbal and written).
  • Required skill : MS Office. Proficient in Microsoft 365 products. Basic Linux commands (ping, df -k, etc). Basic understanding of monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Tivoli, UC4, Jane, IT Dashboard).
  • Knowledge of basic incident management process within the Bank.

    NOTE : Successful candidates will be employed on a 6-month contract directly under Commerz Global Service Solutions Sdn Bhd. Upon completion of the Corporate Trainee Program, permanent employment will be offered based on overall performance evaluation throughout the 6 months program.
